Early Warning Information andRisk Management of Lumpy Skin Disease

In recent years，lumpy skindisease（LSD）has spread toRussia and Kazakstan,，and is likely to be released intoChina in several months or years,，which may bring hugethreat to the cattle in China. In this paper，the spreadof LSD in the world,，early warning information,，epidemiological features，diagnostic methodsand relevant risk management were expounded. In addition,，the experiences learned from the prevention and control of LSD inBulgaria,，including the high priority given bygovernment and scientific circles,，were analyzed.Therefore,，it was suggested that the risk of diseasespreading should be timely followed by control measures，and the core measures,，such as rapid cullingand bio-safety disposal of infected cattle,，massvaccination and restriction on live cattle transportation should be adopted andsupervised by government.
